The upcoming reimagining ofAlone in the Darkis getting a limited Collector’s Edition. A post over onTHQ’s websitesays there’s only going to be 5,000 of these made worldwide, so you might want to get in quick if you want one.
The Collector’s Edition will feature a fair amount of bonus material, including both a statue and miniature, a steelbook case for the game, some DLC (which includes the Derceto 1992 costume pack), and more. you may check out the trailer for this special edition below.

We all know thatResident Evilis one of the most influential survival horror series of all time. However,Alone in the Darkactually predates Capcom’s legendary franchise by four years.
The firstAlone in the Darkgame set the scene for the genre and while it’s massively dated now, it’s been cemented in gaming history as a landmark part of horror. Sadly, subsequent releases and attempts at reboots haven’t had much of an impact, being overshadowed by other games that have come after it.
However,Alone in the Darkis making another comeback. A recent video uploaded to publisher THQ Nordic’sYouTube pagegives a brief teaser of the upcoming title, which is being developed byMagicka 2studio Pieces Interactive.
While previous attempts at bringingAlone in the Darkinto the modern world have not gone down well, horror fans will still be looking forward to this entry.
WithKilling Eve‘s Jodie Comer andStranger Things‘ David Harbour on board (not to mention a story crafted byAmnesiaandSOMAwriter Mikael Hedberg), there’s enough intrigue here to hopefully give the iconic horror series another crack at video game modernity.
Alone in the Darkisdue for releaseon October 25, and will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
