InEA FC 25, Player Roles will have a telling impact on how footballers operate in the game. With the introduction of FC IQ, EA Sports will aim to change several systems from how they operate inEA FC 24.
Player Roles will determine whether a certain footballer is familiar with a specific role, and they will perform accordingly on the field. At launch, there will be a total of 31 roles and 52 unique combinations.

How will Player Roles work in EA FC 25?
Every player will have four different familiarities in terms of roles:

Let’s take Vinicius Jr. as an example. The Brazilian is Role++ when it comes to Insider Forward, but the same won’t apply if you want to use him as a Winger. This is different fromEA FC 24, where there’s no reliance on the role. How you operate depends on your playstyle. InEA FC 25, you’ll have to pay attention to roles to ensure that you’re getting the best out of your players.
