Complete Blue Prince item guide
Blue Princeitems come in two types: Common and Special. Common items are more frequently found, often hinted at through the room’s design or appearing in surprise bundles. Special items, while rare, offer powerful buffs or grant access to previously unreachable areas. Let’s break down the two categories.
Common Items
At the start of your journey inBlue Prince, you’ll find yourself with a multitude of doors wide open, inviting you to explore. But as you delve deeper into the twisting Mt. Holly rabbit hole, the choices become more complex. This is where your keys come into play, either the subtle gray or the gleaming gold. Besidesthe roomsthemselves, you can use them to open trunks for more rewards. But be careful not to mix them up with the Silver Key, which is considered a Special item.
You may also utilize Gems to open rooms that are typically associated with rewards. Sometimes, these rooms will only cost you one gem, while others mandate three. It’s crucial to make time to collect these resources, or you may be locked out of an area later on. Plus, if you need more ground to cover, you may always consume food to gathermore steps.

Coins are the last Common item you can acquire inBlue Prince, allowing you to purchase goods from the Kitchen, Commissary, or other shops. If you need help finding more coins, I suggest getting the Metal Detector to alert you when they are nearby.
Special Items
WhilereviewingBlue Prince, I’ve noticed several areas frequently spawn Special items in specific rooms. It’s not guaranteed every single time, but those particular areas definitely seem to have a higher chance of these rewards. These prized items can also pop up in random spots due to the unpredictable nature of Mt. Holly.
Although Special items may linger in your inventory for the rest of the day, they vanish come morning. Fortunately, the Coat Check lets you stash away items for another day, perfect for those treasures you didn’t quite get to use.

Since the manor is absolutely massive, there are undoubtedly a few more Special objects I’ve missed. I’ll update this guide as I discover more items inBlue Prince.
