A Boy and His Blobseems to be coming to PlayStation 4, PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation Vita, according to ratings published by theUSK, Germany’s video game classifications board.
Back in August, Majesco Entertainementrevealed plansto bring the property to current generation platforms sometime within the next year, though it remains unclear if thetroubled companywas referring to an enhanced port or an all-new entry in the series.
The last time we sawA Boy and His Blobwas WayForward’s 2009 Wii release, which was inspired by the now-defunct Imagineering’s 1989 NES originalA Boy and His Blob: Trouble on Blobolonia.
This will be the first occasionA Boy and His Blobhas appeared on platforms not made by Nintendo, as the only other entry,The Rescue of Princess Blobette, was a Game Boy exclusive.
Majesco acquiredA Boy and His Blobfollowing Imagineering parent Absolute Entertainment’s closure in 1995 and has beenstruggling to stay in businessever since.
