Go watch the oppressive oranges ofDo the Right Thing. It’s a good look. Games are picking up on this, too. IGA talked about framing and color contrast on hisKickstarter project,Firewatch(also orange heavy) aims for mood rather than photo realism.

And here’s the 70’s South America-setSunset, which I first wrote abouta year ago, looking more orange thanCity of God. The Tale of Tales developed adventure features music from Austin Wintory (Journey,The Banner Saga) and a unique setting, confined to, “a luxurious penthouse apartment against the backdrop of violent revolution in a fictional Latin American metropolis.” You play as a housekeeper who ends up, “sucked into a rebellious plot against a notorious dictator,” as you start snooping on your boss.
