It was later ported to the Dreamcast, and then again to the Wii as part of theUltimate Shooting Collection. Strangely enough,Karoushas recently decided to make its way to the 3DS as well, in the form ofKarous: The Beast of Re:Eden. For a moderately good nine-year-old shmup,Karoussure knows how to keep the party going....

Ubisoft, the worst PC publisher on the planet, is now claiming that it suffers a 93-95% piracy rate on the platform. As a response, CEO Yves Guillemot promises it will jump into the free-to-play market. “The advantage of F2P is that we can get revenue from countries where we couldn’t previously — places where our products were played but not bought. Now with F2P we gain revenue, which helps brands last longer,” he toldEurogamer....

Almost absolutely! Maybe I’ve spent the majority of the last half of the year putting posts together to give games away to you, the Destructoid readers. At the surface level, it seems easy to quantify the amount of time I put into it: I write a post, schedule it, and — ta-da — job done! But really, so much more goes into it: I put out feelers to game and PR companies trying to set these up, come to terms, gather resources for the posts, organize my key lists, make the posts, babysit the posts, draw winners, track winners down, send prizes — you might actually be shocked at how incredibly time-consuming it is to give away free games....

Do we dare envision it? I’ve been watching the NetflixDaredevilseries and so far it’s good. It’s so good in fact, it’s made me rethink my entire opinion on Daredevil — which prior to this last week had been an exaggerated shrug with maybe a sarcastic yawn thrown in for effect. It’s not that I particularlydislikedDaredevil or anything, I just never read or saw anything about the character that would make melikehim either (the abysmal 2003 Ben Affleck movie probably didn’t do much for Matt Murdock’s case)....
