That’s why I pay such close attention to this show. I pay a lot of attention to things that don’t deserve my attention, so I can talk about how little attention they deserve. GITS:SAC-FAO on Steam ThatGhost in the ShellshooterI keep talking about,Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex – First Assault Online(GITS:SAC-FAO for short), is finally playable in its Early Access period onSteamor through Nexon’s launcher. It’s five bucks to get in on the ground floor, butGITS:SAC-FAOwill be free-to-play sometime next year if you want to wait for it. The final release still plans to add new modes, maps, weapons, characters — a lot of shit, basically....
Okay, first of all, there’s a community devoted to modifying Power Wheels. That’s just awesome.Anyway, user flux83 over on theModified Power Wheels Forumstook a Street Scene Silverado Power Wheel and beefed the thing up to become a Warthog from theHaloseries. flux83 detailed the entire project over the Power Wheels forum and the thing looks great. He even named it the Chupa Thingy, based on a joke from Red vs Blue.This is totally the luckiest kid ever and he is officially more cooler than thisHalokid now....
Use surprise trade at your own risk Pokemonbugs are no joke: especially if they mess with a hundreds-of-hours-long save file or creatures you’ve lovingly doted on. While this particular bug won’t corrupt your save file, it will crash your game. Confirmed by thePokemon SwordandShieldcommunity anddatamining champion Kaphotics, it looks like there are “malicious” Pokemon swimming around the Surprise Trade feature. If you happen to get one of these ‘mons your game will crash if you try to utilize any online components; and according to some, you won’t be able to do so until the game is patched....
One of the additionsI like leastinSpider-Man 2is the web wings. TheSpider-Mangames, in general, have often strived to provide the best facsimile of the protagonist’s preferred mode of transportation, web swinging, so adding something like gliding to the mix is a bit of an affront to me. It’s a personal preference, but thankfully, I can mostly ignore the skill and just get around the old-fashioned way. I often forget it even exists....
That launch that happened four years ago Remember Trion’sRift? I really liked it; it had a lot of excitement behind it before release, and then when it came out people seemed to forget all about it. The jump to free-to-play seemed to help a bit with getting players back, but it still doesn’t seem to be talked about as much as the likes ofWildStarorGuild Wars 2anymore. Well, maybe the newest update will help pull people back....
It’s a ton of items Red Dead Redemption 2recently hit PCby way of a ton of different platforms: except Steam.That changes on December 5, but before then Rockstar has done a ton of patching to smooth over that huge milestone of a launch. Rockstar says that a “series of updates” have been deployed as of this week, which includes fixes for both the Rockstar Games Launcher (which has been causing many of the problems), as well as the appropriate NVIDIA drivers....
Prime Gaming looks set to offer a whopping 28 free games in September 2024 for its Prime members. The list of titles includeShadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Editionamong a couple ofBorderlandsandLEGOgames. Recently, Prime Gaming announcedMiddle-earth: Shadow of Warand its sequel will be available for free for Prime members, as part of celebrations for the launch ofLOTR: The Rings of PowerSeason 2. Bethesda hasshared plansto put out its development tools forThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The Creation Kit, as it’s known, will be available on PC for free in January. This great news for modders is also beneficial to mod users: going a step further,Skyrim‘s Creation Kit will work alongside Steam Workshop, which is currently being used by theTeam Fortress 2community. Once a mod is in the Workshop, viewers can “browse, rate, and flag” it for download and installation....
‘This is not my game’ We love Swery65 and Suda51, two entirely different people out there making their own unique brand of video games that are fueled by their individual personalities and passions. All the same, these two noteworthy Japanese game creators with numbers in their names are often lumped together by fans — sort of like a “peanut butter and chocolate” situation. They both make “weird games” for weirdos like us to enjoy, and I can easily see how someone might mistakenly type out the wrong name in an online conversation....
