Unwinding in an endless ocean I play videogames for many reasons. Sometimes, I play for the story — the chance to visit new worlds and live out someone else’s life. Other times, it’s the sense of competition I find most alluring, or the chance to master a game’s rules and finally overcome its fiercest challenges. But for every passing motivation to play games I have, I’ll always been in need of one that can help me relax....

When all the fighting was over, Marina’s pure-hearted Team Love took a 2-1 victory over Pearl’s greed for the almighty dollar. By some margin too, as the public poll took 68% of the vote. The physical matches were a little closer, with Love taking Solo play, leaving Money to snatch Team play in its green-stained claws....
Always Be Cage-ing One element ofLuke Cageto appreciate compared to the other Marvel/Netflix fare is its optimistic tone—the titular character isn’t a brooding, secretive figure like Daredevil or a reluctant player like Jessica Jones, but rather fully embraces his public role as Harlem’s protector. This appears to be at the heart of season 2 ofLuke Cage, and the trailer seems to depict Cage (the always smooth Mike Colter) perhaps going over his head a bit....
Oh, Maxis It’s sad to see how Maxis has changed slowly over time ever since its acquisition by EA in 1997. The company once provided me with hours of entertainment with classics such asSimCityandSimAnt, and it seemed like its success and inventiveness would never end. But things were never really the same after the disappointingSporewas released. WhileThe Simskept Maxis afloat, its Emeryville studio eventually closed, and of course, the latestSimCitywas a massive slap in the face with its litany of DRM-based issues....

Speaking at a TED talk in Vancouver, Kipman explained that while the device is consumer ready, Microsoft wants folks to have something to do with the thing before rushing to market. The company’s reason for this is, it wants to avoid repeating its mistakes with Kinect. Despite strong initial sales (10 million units in two months), public interest in the motion controller cratered shortly after release, in part, because there was hardly any software to support it....

This time standard (the main form of competitive play) is not impacted: instead, the bans impact brawl, historic, legacy and modern. The big one is Golos, Tireless Pilgrim’s ban in brawl, with Wizards citing that his five-color identity as a problem (in brawl, you build your deck around your commander, which in this case is Golos)....
How festive Today Nintendo is ramping up Switch Lite production with yet another color scheme: Coral. This is the fourth color for the Switch Lite, following the inaugural turquoise, yellow and gray designs. Nintendo re-confirms that the Switch Lite is still $199.99, and that this new design doesn’t necessarily confirm any sort of special edition Lite. The coral edition will be out on April 3. As you might recall, I picked up a Switch Lite back in Septemberand really liked it....
