Ubisoft and Marvel team up on Avengers: Battle for Earth

The Avengers are going to get still more gaming love as Ubisoft Quebec is currently developingMarvel Avengers: Battle for Earthfor Xbox 360 and Wii U. The title will be a motion-controlled affair and is said to feature twenty characters from the Marvel universe and will feature interactive environments, “inspired by iconic Marvel comic artwork and the Secret Invasion storyline.” There’s another little tidbit in the press release which caught my attention, a quote from Ubisoft’s Toby Key who references the title’s, “extensive combinations of characters, motion-controlled moves and competitive gameplay....
