First R.U.S.E. making-of video is shiny

I’m not super-confident that Ubisoft’s upcoming real-time strategy titleR.U.S.E.is going to be as different or revolutionary as they say it is. Yes, the idea of creating fake information and incorporating spying into an RTS sounds very cool, but from what I’ve seen, I’m still not sold on it being that game-changing, even withtouch screen support. The above video, which is more flash than substance, does nothing to lessen my concerns....

Given that new housing in Final Fantasy XIV sold out in minutes, Square is adding more

By patch 4.2 The new unveiling of the Japan-themed Shirogane housing district inFinal Fantasy XIVdidn’t go so swimmingly — I should know, I was there! Except…most of them were foiled, as all of the wards sold out in minutes. Even with the relocation program in place (where people could easily move from their existing plots in the other three areas to Shirogane), the plots were simply taken instantaneously in some cases, and God forbid you had work that day....

Hollow Knight was worth the wait on Nintendo Switch

They really hit the nail on the head Team Cherry has been stringing fans along with news of a Switch port for months now, but finally blew their load at this year’s E3with a surprise release. Ever since I readDestructoid’s review of the game, where it was awarded a perfect score, I’ve been practically frothing at the mouth for any info about the console version. Its minimum requirements on PC are just short of my laptop’s capabilities, so this wasn’t even a matter of preferred platform....

Newly releasedREMATCHdoesn’t have very high graphic requirements for a modern game, but you can still encounter occasional stutters and crashes on your PC. It’s largely caused by optimization issues that can be due to problems at your end or the end of your in-game client (or maybe a mix of both).
