Batman: Arkham Knight $200 Batmobile edition canceled

‘Greatly compromised’ statue Ugh, what is this, Batmantoid!? I just wrote about how the exclusivity of the retail-exclusive DLCexpires a few months after release, but there’s one other Bat-thing to note, which is that WB has canceled the$200 editionwith the “fully transformable Batmobile statue.” A week before launch, too. And all because of mysterious, “unforseen circumstances that greatly compromised the quality of the Batmobile.” Maybe a loopy factory worker started making all the Batmobiles look like cars out ofMad Max: Fury Roador lost too many fingers in the cockpits....

Capcom looks back on 2009, teases new stuff for 2010

We’re almost a week into the new year, and I’m still not used to it. I’m still writing “09” on stuff on a regular basis. Although 2009 is definitely over, I still feel like 2010 hasn’t really started yet. Straddling the line between two years can be uncomfortable. What better way to reduce the chafing than to talk with Seth Killian, Capcom-fan-turned-Capcom-bigwig? Looking back on Capcom games gone by, and Capcom games to come, always does the mind and body good....

Cyberpunk 2077 scrapped its wall-running mechanic

Faith Connors said to be outraged While it’s definitely safe to say thatCyberpunk 2077looks like a veritable banquet of gameplay features – including firefights, vehicular chaos, character customisation, dialogue trees, and many other popular mechanics – it seems that one previously planned element has fallen by the wayside: wall-running. Speaking in an interview with Game Reactor, CD Projekt RED’s Max Pears noted that while anti-gravity parkour action was definitely on the drawing board, it was ultimately decided that wall-running just didn’t work within Night City’s infrastructure....
