Take a closer look at Bullet Marsh in Gears of War 3

Admittedly, I have not played much of originalGears of Warmultiplayer, but I always enjoy seeing a new take on an established level. Bullet Marsh is a part of the free Versus Booster Map Pack that is set to go live on November 24. The main feature of the original Bullet Marsh map were the insatiable and frustratingKryll, the bat-like Locust that attacked players anytime they happen to enter one of the darker areas of the map....

The 10 most overlooked SNES games

While the first console I technically had in my household was an NES, the Super Nintendo came around when I was finally old enough to really appreciate them. So, the console is a familiar and dear friend. However, I’m more passionate about exploring places that I haven’t been before. Thankfully, the SNES has a large enough library that I’m still coming across worthwhile titles that I’ve missed. There are over 700 games in the SNES library, and that’s just in North America and excluding Super Famicom exclusives....

Best of 2012 Love them or hate them, shooters are one of the biggest sellers in the videogame industry. This modern Game Boy mockup is sleek

‘Flex’ I can’t get enough of unofficial console/portable mockups. Although opinions wildly vary from system to system (official or otherwise), for the most part, I’ve been happy with Nintendo’s portable line for the past 30 years since the Game Boy debuted. There’s certainly been some refinements (like the SP for the Advance generation) but I don’t have a major problem with any first iteration Nintendo portable. This concept from designer YJ Yoon is called the “Flex,” and basically rethinks the launch of the OG Game Boy....

This Resident Evil HD mod brings the original’s campy dialogue back

Wesker is a crazy man WhenResident Evilgot a facelift on the GameCube, the dialogue was inherently upgraded — and subsequently carried over tothe new HD re-release. It wasn’t amajorfix, but it was far less campy than the original PlayStation version. Now, you can relive the all that PSX glory with this fix from the Resident Evil Modding Forum. Evidently it took quite a while as the remaster had over 500 audio files to edit, some of which had gunshots and sound effects mixed in....

It’s tough to be blind or visually impaired. I think we can all agree that that is a true enough statement. You probably miss out on a lot of great things. Playing videogames would be one of those things that completely blind people miss out on (unless they’vemastered echolocation), but what about those who are only visually impaired and want to play games?
